Le géant du logiciel s'apprêterait bien à se séparer de 17 % de ses employés. Des employés qui ont été prévenus en interne de « licenciements majeurs » au sein de tous les bureaux de Microsoft dans le monde.

La nouvelle devient vite grave, puisque Microsoft emploie environ 90 000 personnes dans le monde. Les 17 % de licenciés représentent du coup près de 15 000 travailleurs, une vague de dégraissement sans précédent, une véritable liposuccion !

Toujours selon FudZilla, la division MSN de Microsoft serait particulièrement touchée, et certaines rumeurs affirment qu'il y aura beaucoup de licenciements au sein de notre région : Microsoft EMEA (Europe, Moyen Orient et Afrique).

Les licenciements commenceraient dès le 15 janvier 2009, pour fêter la nouvelle année. Plus sérieusement, ils s'effectueront une semaine tout juste avant la fin du deuxième trimestre financier 2009 de Microsoft, histoire d'alléger les bilans comptables...
